Sarah Taylor and Nat Sciver Celebrate England’s Win
Very few Englishmen would have missed the third Ashes Test, which just ended in Leeds. Ben Stokes takes the Australian bowlers to the cleaner to propel England to a historic victory will be remembered forever. The English man of the moment wrote his name in The Ashes folklore by winning an unmatched score out of 135 as England recorded their most successful pursuit in one of Test Cricket's most outstanding finishes.
Stokes scored all but one in the last fight of 76 with Jack Leach (1 not withdrawn). Stokes' winning strike was successful in sparking celebrations among the crowd in Leeds. Australia had a chance to seal the match when England needed only two minutes. However, Nathan Lyon escaped the ball as he was given a golden opportunity to get Leach out. At the very next ball, Stokes would have been lbw had Australia not squandered their last review in the previous match.
However, the script may have been written in the stars and Stokes. He deserved to be on the winning side. England seemed everywhere when they were reduced to 286 for nine while they were chasing 359. However, before Australia could take the last wicket and seal the ashes, Stokes decided to torment them. He hit four fours and seven sixes to seal the most infallible victory for his team. The ashes are now alive, and England has the opportunity to keep the ballot box.
Nat Sciver and Sarah Taylor, stars of the English women's team, are among the few unlucky ones who can't attend the match. The two actors were fighting for Surrey when Stokes tore Australia apart. However, as soon as Stokes clinched the win, the news came to them. Moreover, they celebrated it even though they were in the middle of the pitch.
