Shahid Afridi Takes on PM Narendra Modi
Former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi seems to have developed a penchant for spreading false information and propaganda on Twitter, like most of his countrymen. Afridi has repeatedly posted tweets on political issues and is facing strong reactions from Indian fans. He did it again on Sunday and, just as in the past. His last message didn't make much sense.
Earlier this month, the Indian government took a historic step by repealing Section 370. The constitutional provision granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
Since India announced its decision, people across the border have been eager to demonise the Indian government. Pakistan's prime minister and his former cricket captain, Imran Khan, have pledged to fight India's decision to revoke Kashmir's autonomy. Khan said the measure violated international law, adding that he feared ethnic cleansing by India.
India Made it clear that Kashmir remains its internal business. Unsurprisingly, the tension between the two fierce rivals is at its highest level. Khan also warned India of a war situation if the situation worsened in the coming days.
However, Contrary to widespread speculation. The situation in the valley, which was once the focus of militancy, has been very calm. Pakistan, however, has not yet realised that Article 370 has been repealed and is doing everything in its power to tarnish India's image.
Shahid Afridi also seems to have joined the movement while he also made his contribution on Twitter. The open spokesman, who has spoken of Kashmir in the past. Also called on the United Nations to end the violence in Kashmir, although the valley is very peaceful. Not only that, but Afridi also wrote that even Indians do not support their Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his ridiculous tweet.
