Famous Sri Lankan Players Not Interested in Traveling to Pakistan

Sri Lanka will tour Pakistan for the next limited series, which is scheduled to be Played from September 27 to October 9. However, Niroshan Dickwella, and Thisara Perera, are not enthusiastic about travelling with the team to Pakistan for series 3 ODI and T20I.

They announced that both players had applied for permission to participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which will be played from 4 September, in Contradiction to the dates on which the Sri Lankan team will tour Pakistan. The Sri Lankan board has not yet given players a Certificate of Objection (NOC), but could allow its players to participate in the PCL provided they return to national service if they request it.

Initially, Pakistan wanted to play the test series with Sri Lanka at home, but a telephone discussion took place between the CCP president, Ehsan Mani, and the SLC President, Shammi Silva, where the exchange decision was made. This meant that Pakistan would host the limited series in the first place instead of the test matches and that the series in the most extended format was moved in December, probably to the United Arab Emirates.
