Jasprit Bumrah Celebrates Raksha Bandhan
Jasprit Bumrah had celebrated Raksha Bandhan two days earlier, when he had been called to "take responsibility for the Indian team" and that the 25-year-old bowler "couldn't fail to celebrate" the festival with his sister Juhika.
"Team India's tasks mean I won't be here for Raksha Bandhan, but I just couldn't fail to celebrate with you, Juhika. Thank you for always being there for me". The tasks of Team India mean that I will not be there for Raksha Bandhan but that I could not fail to celebrate with you, Juhika thank you for always being there for me.
Bumrah, who was not part of ODIs series against the West Indies, will join the Caribbean Test series starting August 22. He had been playing non-stop since the 2019 edition of IPL and now still he will be seen in action in IPL 2020, and to avoid burnout, the set-up was at rest with the versatile Hardik Pandya.
The first test match of the two-match series between India Vs West Indies will take place on 22 August at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
