He pleased with his performance at the 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup but unfortunately, Pakistan couldn’t qualify.
Babar Azam says:
I was pleased with how my World Cup was, and that has given me a lot of confidence to move on. It was my first World Cup and, although it was a big challenge, it was something I enjoyed.I didn't start playing cricket until I was about 12, where I started my career at the Club level. Even though I started quite late, I fell in love with the game and played a lot on the streets before my parents helped me find a club.
I went from U15 level to U23 level before playing for Pakistan A. I was very happy that after another year, I was called to the Pakistan team.
