Virat Kohli reveals the secret behind his dance moves with Chris Gayle

Virat Kohli is one of the fittest cricketers in the world, but he is sometimes tired when conditions are difficult to play, as was the case at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain on Sunday. Although the weather was hot and humid, Kohli still managed to score 120 delivery points for 120 races and spent 179 minutes at the crease. During the Hunt for the Windies, he returned to the field and took a stunning amazing one-handed to fire Evin Lewis.

It was a complete effort by the skipper that helped India defeat the West Indies by 59 points (DLS method) in the second ODI and take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. After the match, Kohli made a special appearance on 'Chahal TV' in which he revealed the secret of his performance in extreme weather conditions.

"It was very difficult because it had rained earlier in the day. That's why it was even wetter today. My state of mind has always been simple. I want to contribute in every way possible for the team. Whether it's takings or going out, I want to do everything. Each player should adopt his lifestyle and discipline so that he can give his 100% on the field”.

"If you don't give everything you have on the field, you don't do justice to the team. I have changed my lifestyle, my training, and my diet so that I can contribute in every way possible for the team, even in difficult weather conditions. All this helps on days when conditions are difficult. These little things help a lot," Kohli told Yuzvendra Chahal.

"Honestly, I was completely exhausted after reaching 60-65 years. But the situation was such that I had to keep playing the way I was. As a cricketer, we should always realize that if you think about the team, all the fatigue and exhaustion disappear. It was very difficult because it had rained earlier in the day. That's why it was even wetter today".

Chahal finally asked Kohli about his dance moves on the field during the first ODI, and the Indian talisman gave a straightforward answer.

"I'm having fun on the field. Even though I am a captain, I do not believe in a way of doing things. God has given me such a beautiful life and the opportunity to represent my team. I think I'm enjoying the moment. I'm in a good space in my life, and that's why I move a leg every time there's music. Bhangra has always been special, but if there is groovy music, the movements are natural, because the intentions are always good".
