Jofra Archer Takes Six-Wickets Haul in Third Ashes Test
Jofra Archer took six wickets haul in the third Ashes Test 2019 and makes great trouble for Australia in the absence of Steve Smith. Australia was restricted to 179 runs in just 52.1 after English skipper Joe Root won the toss and opted to bowl first which turned into a good decision.
When Archer trapped Nathan Lyon lbw in the final of the day to wrap up the session, he left the field with a high-hold ball and six wickets for 45 runs the best by an English bowler against Australia at Headingley since Bob Willis helped level a score 1-0 in 1981.
Jofra Archer After Taking Six Wickets
"I didn't do too much differently from Lord's it was a bit friendly for the bowlers today, sometimes it's flat and the ball stops swinging, but it starts again.
"I'll take more than 6-45, but I can be cleaner in the future it's been fine so far”. From the moment I put the badge on, it's the best time for cricket so far and we hope to have a lot more ahead of us.
